This practical training course, delivered by Malith Mendis, FIDIC accredited Trainer, covers the history of FIDIC and its suite of contracts, then works through the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Design, Build and Operate Projects 2008 — the DBO Contract.

It suits every party involved with a FIDIC DBO Contract: the Employer, the Project Manager, the Contractor, the Engineer and DAB members. A sound grasp of FIDIC’s risk allocation policy, and of the responsibilities and rights that follow from it, makes for more efficient management of the project. The trainer is an engineer with extensive worldwide involvement in project management and related dispute resolution.
